With most of the major events now complete i.e. all new plumbing, complete rewire, new widows.....etc in order to continue with the blog then it will be a weekly progress for those that are keeping up with it.
We had good progress this week. M. Kosubay our stone mason started back. His merry men have worked on skreeding the kitchen floor and the wall of the cooker hood.
With the floor completed the tile will hopefully be going down next week and that starts the fitting out of the kitchen. Once the tiles go down then the Godin and the Range can go in, the island can be assembled then the units fitted!
As we opened up the stairs down to the basement it became necessary to draft proof the lower floor so 3 doors have to be installed.
Also this week our Log Fire arrived. With the new flu and fire fully functional, heat, for the first time in years has once again returned to #18!
M. Senta also blasted through an enormous amount of work. He has started to prep the walls and spraying has commenced. It has made a huge difference already so were are excited to see it with colour!

You have no idea how happy it made me to walk into the house and see the fire not only in place but actually going in our fireplace. It almost made me bubble as I realized that it is finally starting to feel a little bit like "our" home. Everything is moving so fast now that I have every faith we will be in before you know it. Hopefully next week we will see tiles going in and more plumbing happening. You're doing an excellent job keeping all the works documented and I very much appreciate it. :)
